Glendowie OSCARS
Providing a fun
and safe out of school care programme at Glendowie Primary
Established in January 2000, Glendowie OSCARS is an independently owned and operated OSCAR programme that is based at Glendowie Primary School. We offer a comprehensive Out of School Care Service, providing Before School Care, After School Care and Holiday Programmes throughout the year. Our services meet the recreational, social and developmental needs of the individual child in a fun, safe and caring environment. Glendowie OSCARS is an approved Child, Youth & Family OSCAR programme, providing out of school care services to families with children aged 5-13 years. Glendowie OSCARS is a member of the OSCAR Foundation and the Out of School Network.
Before
School Care
Our before school care programme opens each weekday morning at 7am – 8.30am. Children who attend the 7am session receive breakfast, which includes cereals, toast, milo and milk. We also offer a 7.30am drop off and a 8am drop off. Children play games, complete homework and take part in art and craft activities until the bell rings at 8.30am
After
School Care
We provide an after school care service each day during the school term until 6pm. Children are well supervised in fun, child orientated activities. We make good use of the indoor and outdoor resources available at Glendowie Primary. Children can take part in a wide selection of activities, ranging from arts & crafts, sports, baking, drama, walks to the local reserve, lego/ blocks and homework supervision. There are also additional activities available, including playball, karate, soccer, cheerleading and swimming.
Holiday
Care
We have a fantastic programme available during the holidays
with an awesome range of activities. The Holiday Club operates each week day
from 8.00am - 6.00pm. We provide a variety of
activities where children have a fun and
exciting time, after all, it is
